So I’m sure you’ve read, heard, or even repeated a good quote from time to time. You know those quotes I’m talking about, some go like this: “Milk does a body good.” or, “A Penny saved is a penny earned.” So I thought I’d round up a few and give you one for every day of the week. “7 days of quotes do you good!” Poni Sayer (that one’s mine. lol)
“The three things that are most essential to achievement are common sense, hard work, and stick-to-it-iveness.” Thomas Edison
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein
“Attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG difference.” Winston Churchill
The thing about quotes is they’re only good if you follow them, or if they change your life in some way for the better. We can read quotes all day long, but if we don’t choose to implement them(put them into practice), then they really do us absolutely NO good.
“Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” Thomas Edison Considering he failed over 1000 times in trying to make a light bulb and didn’t give up, how many times are we willing to try something before we give up? Ah, now that’s the heart of it isn’t it? We must press on, be persistent, keep hope alive, and keep trying. Then try again!
”Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” Plato
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” Helen Keller
Make someone smile today!
Tell a joke or ask a coworker, friend, or family member (no matter how old or young) to tell you a joke. Laughter is GOOD medicine.
“Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today.” Cherokee Indian Proverb
Here’s to you! :)
