I dunno about you, but I’m seeing soooo many stripes here in this photo! LOL Is it a two headed zebra, a two headed multi-zebra, or two zebras? And is it just me, or are there an awful lot of ‘butts’ in this pic or what? (sorry, I’m laughing too hard to continue!)……………Ok, I’ve recovered now.
I’m giving you an assignment for the week. I know, I know, we’re not in school anymore. I can hear you groaning because I said the word ‘assignment’. No, no! Don’t freak out, this one is eeeeeezzzyy. (I can’t wait to see how the online algorithms mess with that word-lol). Anywho, your assignment is very simple. You’ll enjoy it, trust me. The title of this post is: Go ahead, make my day.
Originally that was a movie tagline of someone daring someone else to do something they’d be sorry for. But we’re not going to do anything of that nature. Instead, what we ARE going to do, is make someone’s day. Yep, you heard me. You and I are going to look for someone, or more than one someone, that we can do or say something that will make their day. (I TOLD you this would be easy!)
Does someone like to be complimented on their outfits? Then DO IT! Does someone else need a hand bringing in their groceries(cuz they’re elder and have trouble walking)? Then DO IT! How about someone who needs help with school work(at the high school or college level), or someone who needs a pet sitter for a day or weekend? Does someone need help mowing their yard? Then DO IT! Look around at the people in your family, your friends, your co-workers, even your neighbors, etc. Yes, you CAN ask them if they’d like help at that moment. Or you can come right out and ask if there’s anything you can do for them. That’ll make their day! And yours. Which by the way has an added benefit because, (she looks to the left and then to the right before continuing) now lean in close cuz this is a secret…………………it…………………..just………………. might………………make………………………………you…………………………………………
