I like you. Yup, believe it or not, it’s true. I’ve never met you, and we’ve never talked on the phone or in person. But yes, I like you. As my reader and fellow human being, I like you. And if I ever did meet you in person, I’m sure I’d like you even more. Who do you like?
Like this Butterfly fish, you are unique, lovely, and wonderful. Yup, it’s TRUE! So who do you know that’s likeable? Their personality, their kindness, their smile, their friendship? Your spouse, your brother or sister, your best friend, your kids, a co-worker that’s kind? Now let me ask you. Who do you say “I love you” to? Hopefully, you let your spouse, kids, siblings or other family members know how much you love and appreciate them. DAILY. Not because they’re perfect, but just because they are them. And they matter to you.
There’s no guarantee how long you will be blessed with them in your life. So make the most of the time you do have with them, and never let them wonder how you feel about them. Let them know, daily, how much they matter to you and that you love them. As a bonus, that declaration of love might just come back to you. Maybe not, but that’s ok, as it’s not the reason to do it. Do it because it makes them feel good. It will make you feel good too! And we all like to hear it often.
