Like the unshakeable fact that there is a sun that shows up every single….day…..and a moon every….single…..night.
Like the unshakeable fact that there is such a thing as gravity to keep your feet firmly planted on-the-ground.
Like the unshakeable fact that the ocean exists, and that no matter where you are in the world, if you travel far enough across that land you will eventually run right into the ocean.
Like the unshakeable fact that there are billions upon billions of grains of sand all around the world and no matter how hard we try, we will never accurately count them all. Ever. (though many have tried!)
Like all those unshakeable facts, and more, YOU are a person of high quality and extreme value. No, I’m not crazy. And yes, though I may not have met you personally(yet,) I can accurately and 100% attest to this unshakeable FACT. You my friend, are valuable. Even more so than all the grains of sand in the sea, beaches, deserts, and streams. And in case you weren’t aware, that’s a whole dang lot of sand!!
So the next time you’re feeling unappreciated, down on yourself, or like the whole world is against you, remember this my friend. You are valuable, and the world NEEDS you. We need your unique gifts, talents, personality, and smile that are only yours.
You were hand crafted, beautifully made, one of a kind, a true treasure. Breathe that in, and believe it for yourself.
No matter who you are, where you are, no matter what’s going on, no matter your mistakes or successes… you are needed in this world. And I’m very glad you exist! So show the world who you are and what you can bring to it that’s only you. It doesn’t have to be a big production. You can show what makes you “you” to those around you, everyday, in all the little ways that make you wonderful. You are truly a gift to this world. :)
I may be a gift to the world, but I think the dog may have chewed the wrapping on this gift!
This was just what I needed to read right now. Now I'm inspired to do what I need to do - and yes, you are so correct that it definitely doesn't have to be a big production (thanks for that reminder).
