“That’s it! I have HAD it!”
Have you ever said that? I know I have. Many, many times. Sometimes, it’s only in my head. Oh the number of times I heard this from my mama! lol And the number of times I’ve said it myself. No, it’s not always to my kids. Or to my husband. Or even to my job. (although all of those deserve it at least once per wk). Yup.
Maybe you’re like me. Sometimes you just need a break from others who put too many demands on you. Or frustrate you because they never change, never learn from their dumb behavior or mistakes, then keep on complaining about how awful their lives are. Really?
Now your question for me is: So how do you cope?
Quite some time ago, I found a way to “deal” with those frustrating times, people, or moments without losing my stack.(aka-mind). I take a breath, let it out slower than usual, and remind myself that their issue is just that. THEIR issue. Which does not make it my issue. (Although they certainly imply that it does!)

So I smile(because this really does make me feel better), then look at the situation from the outside of it to get a better, or clearer view. Once you see a problem or situation from the ‘outside’ of it, things look different. You can understand it better. You will see options you didn’t see before. A way to handle or deal with it that eluded you before when you looked too closely at it. That’s why when others come along who aren’t involved, they breathe new air into you with their ideas from a different perspective. Be GLAD!
Those that can see it differently (?like this pup), usually help us to see it better, so we can make a better decision on how to deal with that person, that problem, or that situation. And that ‘new’ perspective might be just the thing you’ve been needing. So don’t be afraid to ask for help or someone else’s opinion. You don’t have to use their ideas, but it could help you come up with a better idea you’d like to try. So SMILE, LAUGH, and ASK.(for help that is). I know YOU CAN handle it, even if you need to take a step back to catch your breath. YOU ARE strong enough to do this. YOU ARE smart enough to make a great decision.
YOU got this!
