Sometimes, a photo can totally make your day, right? I’m sure you’ve seen your share of wacky, silly, or absolutely funny photos. I know I have(see example above). It’s not just photos that can make your day, but sometimes the things people say.
For example, when my son asked if we had enough “man-width” to watch a video. What is it? He meant “band-width” for our internet. LOL
Or when a little girl was overheard in the grocery store making a statement how “those melons are bigger than your melons mommy.” (Thanks to the dad who made that reference when he didn’t know his daughter was listening!) :)
I know 100% that everyone, everywhere, has a least one photo, or instance, or something someone said or did that is downright funny. Especially at the time that it was said. Even you! (Ever gone camping? Yup-enough said!)
My funny story: my husband and I went camping and we had a brand new air mattress we just filled with air. I took it across the campsite to our tent to put it inside. What I didn’t know was that when I crossed the ‘cold’ ashes of the campfire site on my way(they weren’t cold under the top layer apparently) I brushed the edge of the mattress across them. (plastic and heat don’t mix well!) After I put the mattress in the tent and we went to bed, we found out. The mattress s-l-o-w-l-y lost air, and before morning we were sleeping flat on the ground! Ouch. Upon inspection of this ‘brand new’ mattress, I found a small hole that had been “melted” into the end of it, accidently by me. OOPS! Yes, we laughed.
So what’s yours? No matter what it is, make sure you write it down. Or in the case of a photo, make sure you put it someplace safe. WHY? Because we’re all human, and we all tend to forget things. And those things that make us laugh, or smile, should not be forgotten. Let’s face it- we ALL need a hearty laugh. EVERYDAY. Professional comedians know this, that’s why they write the funniness(is that a real word?) of life down to retell later. So lots of others can laugh right along with them. (skip embarrassing someone else though, as that’s NOT funny unless they agree to it). Share your funny stories, photos, and experiences. It’s worth it.
